Day 29 Summer 2012 Road Trip

Not much happened today, we slept late and then Karen did some laundry.

Around 2pm we went to a neat restaurant on the hotel property for a late lunch.   This is Hudson’s Classic Grill.  Burgers, Shakes and Rock’n Roll. 



Although not located on Route 66, it has a very distinct Route 66 feel.  Even the benches are upholstered in Route 66 fabric.



There is a lot of gasoline memorabilia throughout the building, even a couple of old Hudson’s.

  

We had BLT’s and real hand made shakes.  What a treat.



We went back to the hotel after our very filling lunch and I promptly lay down and had a 3 hour nap.  It is good to have a down day once in a while.
