We started off the day on the Centennial Scenic Byway. We are heading to Grand Teton National Park.
As we crest a hill we see the Teton Mountain Range ahead of us in the distance.
We took several more photos as we got closer and closer to the park entrance.
We entered the park and showed our National Park Pass at the gate.
It is a hazy cloudy morning in the park so the photos are not the best they could be, but as the day went on, the skies cleared and the sun came out.
We drove to the top of the Jackson Point overlook to take these photos.
Karen spotted this Mule Deer.
The skies started to clear shortly after lunch.
We drove along the Antelope Flats road, thinking we might see some antelope, but instead we saw a large herd of Bison.
We then visited the town of Jackson Wyoming and stopped for a drink at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. The bar stools are actually horse saddles.
After leaving Jackson WY we headed to our hotel in Idaho. We will return tomorrow to Grand Teton National Park for half a day for more sightseeing and photos and then head further North into Yellowstone National Park.
