Today there are no National Parks or National Monuments to visit. We will be driving along the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway from Cortez CO to Montrose CO. It is about a 3 hour drive, so we left our hotel at 11am, did some shopping at Wal-Mart and then leisurely drove North to our hotel in Montrose.
At our hotel in Cortez, there was a Prairie Dog Town in the vacant lot beside the hotel. We watched as the prairie dogs scooted back and forth before we headed off to Wal-Mart.
The San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway did not start out too scenic, but the scenery improved as we drove.
Nothing much to tell you about on this drive, so I will keep this short and just show you some of the photos that we took.
