This afternoon we headed out to McRae Point Provincial Park.
We got away around 4:30pm and by 5:30 we were crossing over the ‘Narrows” in Orillia.
In another 15 minutes we are stopped on the shoulder of the road taking a photo of the Park entrance sign.
Then we drive up to the entrance gate house.
And get checked in.
Then it is onwards to our site and to get set up.
We are in Site 138.
Our friends Don &Shirley are set up several sites away. Karen and I have a quick dinner before going over to visit them. They have a nice campfire already started, so we enjoy a few cold ones and chat the evening away.
